Terms
and Conditions RESPONSIBILITIES
We promise to make sure that the holiday arrangements we have agreed to make,
perform or provide as applicable as part of our contract with you are made, performed or provided with reasonable skill and
care. However, we will not be responsible for any
injury, illness, death, loss (for example loss of enjoyment), damage, expense, cost or other sum or claim of any description
whatsoever. Please note, we cannot accept responsibility for any services which do not form part
of our contract. Change of sheets is provided once a week for clients exceeding 7 or more nights.
The enjoyment of this
property entails certain responsibilities on your part. We may inspect the property at any time during the daytime. You will
be informed beforehand so as not to cause you any inconvenience.
HOLIDAY INSURANCE We strongly recommend
that you take out fully comprehensive travel and health insurance, which dependent on reason, will normally cover you in the
event of cancellation against loss of deposit or cancellation fees and for medical costs in the event of your becoming ill
or having an accident whilst on holiday. It is your responsibility to ensure that the insurance covers your purchase and is
suitable and adequate for your particular needs.
LIABILITY
We cannot accept any liability for loss, damage or injury to you or our personal property, occurring whatsoever
relating to this contract and/or the rental property, as you must be responsible for taking all necessary safety precautions.
Equally, no claims of any sort will be entertained in the event of incidents occurring whilst any occupants or guests are
under the influence of alcohol or any drugs, whether therapeutic or not.
DEPOSITS Except under exceptional
circumstances, all bookings must be accompanied by a deposit which will be credited towards the total cost of your accommodation.
Deposits may be paid by bank/wire transfer, bank cheque or any other means convenient to you, however the property will
not be held until deposit has been received and cleared. Any expenses incurred in forwarding the deposit to us must be paid
by you. The total deposit amount required will be indicated to you once you confirm an intention to book our property. After
your booking is accepted and where applicable a deposit received, a balance invoice will be sent to you detailing the total
cost due. Full payment is due not less than four weeks of arrival. If you do not make all payments in full and on time, we
reserve the right to cancel your booking and cancellation charges will apply. CANCELLATIONS / REFUND OF DEPOSIT Should you for
whatever reason, cancel the booking, you will have the right to repayment of all money paid minus cancellation charges. Cancellation
is effected only when written notification is received or in the event of non payment of balances. Cancellation charges are
based on total rental payments and are calculated from the date of the rental period as follows:
1)
More than 61 days prior: 30% held ( Refund of 70%) 2) Between 41 days and 60 days prior: 50% held ( Refund
of 50%) 3) Between 31 days and 40 days prior: 80% held ( Refund of 20%) 4) 30 days or
less: 100% held ( No Refund ) Rental fees include rental of PENMON, sheets and towels,
use of water, electricity and gas, use of swimming pool for the designated periods.

CIRCUMSTANCES
BEYOND OUR CONTROL$ We will not be liable to pay any compensation
or to otherwise accept responsibility for any loss of damage as a result of circumstances which are beyond our control, such
as nearby construction noise, electricity and / or water cuts, excavations, war or threat of war, civil strife, industrial
disputes, natural disaster, bad weather, actual or threatened terrorist activity, etc.
CHANGES TO TERMS AND CONDITIONS
We reserve the right to change these terms and
conditions at any time by posting changes on this web site. It is your responsibility to review the web site terms and conditions
regularly to ensure you are aware of the same. Your use of this web site after a change has been posted will be deemed to
signify your acceptance of the modified terms and conditions. We recommend that you print and retain for your records a copy
of these terms and conditions.
DATA PROTECTION In compliance
with the data protection Act 1998, personal data shall be obtained only for one or more specified and lawful purposes, and
shall not be further processed in any manner incompatible with that purpose or those purposes.
SECURITY DEPOSIT On entry to PENMON a security deposit is required
to be lodged as a bond against potential damages and costs incurred at the property. The amount of the deposit is Euro
200 or equivalent in another currency of the same value. In the event of damage to the property or others, these will
be assessed and the balance of the deposit returned to you. You have to acknowledge that you are responsible to us
for the full value of damages caused, notwithstanding that it may exceed the value of the security deposit.
ARRIVALS, DEPARTURES AND CONDUCT
Arrivals are accepted at 4:00 pm (16:00)
of the day of arrival. Departures are due before 11:00 am on the final day of rental. Where possible requests
for extended departure times will be accommodated, however this must be by prior agreement, and only if possible at our
discretion. We ask you to respect us and our neighbours, and ask you to refrain from excessive noise, especially
during late hours.
CLEANING AND ORDER
The house must be delivered and left clean and in order as found. Penmon is to be used solely for holiday accommodation,
and not for any commercial activities, parties, discos, or other kind of entertainment. Damages to the property will be noted,
and are subject to payment on demand. Smoking is allowed but care must be taken to use ashtrays, not to smoke in bedrooms
and to dispose carefully of cigarette stubs. Crockery and other equipment of the house (chairs, blankets, etc.) must not be used or transported out of the
rooms or house. Beach towels are not provided.
Kindly refrain from using bath towels by the swimming pool. Furniture and other items are not to be moved around. Candles, gas heaters, hobs, etc, must be used with great care,
so as to prevent any unnecessary harm, fire or damage. After delivery of Penmon, repairs of breakdowns and those of ordinary
maintenance (plugging of w.c. and basins, damages to equipment and furniture or to property, stains on mattresses
and bed covers, broken crockery, etc.) will be charged to you and the amounts will be deducted directly from the bond. In
uncertain circumstances a receipt will be provided for the expense met for repairs carried out after the departure.
HOUSEKEEPER
/ POOL SERVICE
This includes change of bed linen, bath and kitchen towels once a week. This service is provided for customers
exceeding 7 or more nights. The house keeper whose name is Joanne Cassar, residing at 'Casa Cassar' Triq
il-Knisja, Gharb. Tel: 21561968/79005292 will hand you the keys on your arrival and explain the facilities.
Pool
service and maintenance is normally carried out at an early hour, so as to minimize any intrusion and inconvenience during
your stay.
