Very nice farmhouse, spacious yet
very cosy with nice features in the rooms... Nice outdoor space, very pleasant pool area with a barbecue and covered terrace.
The pool has a waterfall feature. Large bedrooms and clean bathrooms. Will be back :)

We (6 adults, 3 children and a baby)
greatly enjoyed Penmon farmhouse in April 2011. The house is spacious, the pool lovely (although a bit cold in April), and
Gharb a nice town to be based for sightseeing and walks.
Service was excellent, the landlord had even bought us breakfast
as shops were closed the day after our arrival. With Easter there are nice ceremonies in Gharb.
I would recommend staying
at Penmon.

This farmhouse is a secret piece of heaven. I cannot recommend it strongly
enough if you are looking for a peaceful, tranquil chilled out holiday.
It is set in the quiet town of Gharb on the edge
of the countryside within a five minute drive of the large town of Victoria.
There is everything you require here to
either BBQ or eat in and also some small family run tavernas to eat at in Gharb and Victoria.
The property was clean
and well maintained with plenty of sleeping and living space. The kitchen had everything that was required and even a large
commercial size fridge for beverages.
The outside living area is lovely with a large dining area covered by a gazebo
where we sat every night into the small hours.
There is a stone built BBQ which we used every day.
There is a large
swimming pool with waterfall of which we were never out (skinny dipping at night also)! and plenty of sunloungers surround
the pool.There is also an outdoor shower.
The property is nestled down a back street so completely private and quiet.
From the farmhouse there are numerous country walks that lead to the edge of the island and some breathtaking scenery and
views.
We have been to many places around the world over the years but this truly beats them all for its peace and tranquility
and we will definately be returning again and again.

Finally we are back from our holiday.
Thank you so much for a fantastic stay at the Penmon Farmhouse.
We really enjoyed our two weeks in peace and tranquillity.
Your house is great for families with kids, and we could probably be 3 families there (if we are good friends)
Gharb
and Victoria is delightful, and we found a great restaurant in San Lawrence (I don’t remember the name of it)
Most
of our food I cooked at the BBQ, and it worked great. We bought a Blender that we left behind for your other guest.
It’s
great crushing ice and make Strawberry Margaritas.
Please give our best to Joanne, we really appreciate her cooking and
all of her help during our stay.
